Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty was launched by Salman Khan in 2015 with the remake of Subhash Ghai’s Hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Suniel Shetty: Indian Film Actor, Producer and Entrepreneur, Hotelier Shetty, is a popular Bollywood film actor, producer and entrepreneur in hotel business, he is predominantly active in Indian films, acted in more than 110 films.

Sunil Shetty, born on 11th, August 1961, in Mulki, Mangalore, Karnataka. He is married to Mana Shetty and has two children, actress Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty. Athiya made her acting debut opposite actor Sooraj Pancholi in film Hero (2015). Her wife runs an NGO for under-privileged kids

Shetty has a Black Belt in Kickboxing. He also owns clothing boutiques as well as restaurants specialising in Udupi cuisine. He is also captain of the Mumbai Heroes cricket team in the Celebrity cricket league.

He has also changed the spelling of his name from Sunil to Suniel for numerological reasons. Sunil Shetty’s major works have been action films, besides Bollywood movies, he has also acted in English, Malayalam and Tamil movies.

His debut film was Balwaan (1992) opposite the beautiful actress late Divya Bharti. This film launched the career of him as an action hero. Later on, he played the role of a protagonist in various successful movies such as Dilwale, Anth, Mohra, Gopi Kishan, Krishna, Sapoot, Rakshak, Border, Bhai, Hera Pheri, Dhadkan, Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Main Hoon Na and Red Alert: The War Within.

He won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain for Dhadkan in 2001. Under the banner of Popcorn Motion Pictures, he produced films like Khel – No Ordinary Game, Rakht and Bhagam Bhag. He also hosted Biggest Loser Jeetega TV show on Sahara One.

He was participant in the Hiru Golden Film Awards 2014 and 2016 in Sri Lanka as a special guest along with other Bollywood actors such as Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, and actresses such as Bipasha Basu, and Neha Dhupia.
