Chelsea are joint-favourites along with Manchester City to lift this season’s FA Cup trophy after the Blues discovered their third-round opponents on Monday.
Antonio Conte’s side have enjoyed a hugely successful past two months in the Premier League, with Chelsea’s eight straight wins seeing them go three points clear of nearest rivals Arsenal in the standings.
With the Blues being knocked out of the EFL Cup by West Ham in late October and not playing in any European competition this season, Chelsea have found themselves with odds by 888Sport of 6/1 to win the FA Cup.
The Blues will take on either Notts County or Peterborough in the next round of the FA Cup while City – who also have odds of 6/1 to win the competition this term – will face a tricky tie away to West Ham in early January.
Arsenal are joint second favourites alongside Liverpool and current FA Cup holders Manchester United with odds of 8/1 to win the tournament after Arsene Wenger’s side were drawn to play Preston North End.
Tottenham, who will play Aston Villa at home in the third round, have odds of 11/1 to win the FA Cup while West Ham have odds of 21/1 to triumph this season.
Crystal Palace, who will face Bolton away, find themselves as 12th favourite to win the tournament with odds of 28/1. Source.
